Directions

Grilled Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chops: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for more flavor.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
  3. Grill the Chops: Remove the pork chops from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place them on the hot grill. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on one side until you get nice grill marks.
  4. Flip and Finish Cooking: Flip the chops and grill for another 4-6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest and Serve: Remove the chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute for a more tender chop.
  6. Enjoy: Serve the grilled pork chops with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
